Learning support for 160 children

From April 1 to June 30, 2021, the NGO Young Roma is implementing the "REtutor" project.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the education system and the transformation of the organization of teaching had negative effects on the results of students in the first half of the 2020/21 school year.

In order to mitigate the consequences, this project seeks to solve the problem of poor results and provide additional support to students, all with the aim of improving general knowledge and better success at the end of the school year.

The main target group of this project are 160 students from the fourth to the seventh grade of primary schools in three municipalities (Podgorica, Nikšić, Berane), in which a significant number of RE students are recorded.

The activities on this project refer to individual tutoring classes in small groups of up to 4 students in three subjects - Montenegrin, English and mathematic.
